Monday Morning Mantra: Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu

"Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu..."

"May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all."

How many times have you taken someone else's negative personality or rude behavior?

It's so easy to get wrapped up in our own worlds, our own issues and forget that other people are fighting their own battles. This week, commit to serving the overall happiness and freedom in your community to committing to the mantra.

Let's dissect the mantra:

Lokah: People or universe
Samastah: All beings living in the same location
Sukhino: Free from suffering, centered in happiness
Bhav: The state of unified existence or the divine mood
Antu: May it be so, it must be so

This week when other people get you down, instead of wishing negativity onto them, recite this mantra. By being a being of light, you are not only living in positivity, you are improving your karma and vibe.

May all beings be happy and free from suffering. May this pledge lead to universal bliss and the end of suffering. Namaste.
