The Dalai Lama kept it real tonight in an exclusive interview on CNN.
This evening’s episode of Piers Morgan Tonight was definitely something special. Piers and the Dalai Lama sat down for a televised interview featuring some pretty candid questions on topics ranging from his lifestyle choices and vegetarianism, to sex and politics.
It was nice to watch the interview and hear his honest observations. He even explained that he does feel temptation when he sees women sometimes, but then said amid laughter: “Sometimes I see and feel, this is very nice! But then thinking, this is a real job… this is a real problem, too many problems.”
The whole thing made him very relatable. He was inspiring, and he beautifully conveyed the idea that we are all human, none of us perfect, and that’s ok.
When questioned about politics he replied: “the world belongs to humanity, not this leader, that leader, kings or religious leaders. The world belongs to humanity. Each country belongs essentially to their own people.” He also stated that he loves George Bush Jr., as a human being—not a political leader.
