1 teaspoon dried peppermint leaves
1 teaspoon dried chamomile flowers
1 teaspoon fennel seeds, lightly crushed
½ teaspoon dried and gut ginger pieces
8 ounces of boiling water
Combine the herbs and flowers into a teapot or mug. Add boiling water, cover, and steep for ten minutes. Strain the tea and sweeten with honey, if desired.

You can even collect the herb yourself, so long as you avoid high-traffic streets, parks with regular dog walkers, or lawns treated with herbicides. The work will be well-worth the benefits on your stomach; studies have shown that dandelion leaves help to increase gastric motility, meaning that they help ease the rate at which food passes through the stomach. If you’re short on time, you can also purchase dried versions of the leaves at specialty tea shops.

1 cup boiling water
Combine the leaves and place in mug or kettle of hot water. Steep for ten minutes, strain, and enjoy with sweetener, if desired.
Lemon balm is another one of those herbs that comes with a myriad of health benefits. Many use the mint-related leaf for intestinal gas, bloating, vomiting, and upset stomach, but it can also be used for anxiety and sleep problems. And if that wasn’t enough, the herb has also been noted to help support the liver, normalize blood sugar, protect the brain cells,and boost alertness. The recipe combines the lemon balm with rosehips, which are high in vitamin C, and lavender, which can help aid restlessness and depression.
1 tablespoon dried lemon balm
2 teaspoons dried, seedless rosehips
½ teaspoon dried lavender
2 cups boiling water
Combine the ingredients and divide into two mugs. Pour one cup of boiling water into each mug, cover, and steep for ten minutes. Strain and sweeten, if desired.
Coriander-Cumin-Fennel Tea, or CCF tea as it is commonly called, is a beloved Ayurvedic herbal remedy. The coriander seeds help to reduce bloating, support digestion,and combat allergies, while the cumin helps balance all of the doshas, or the primary energies that Ayurveda believes to govern our physiology. 1/4 teaspoon coriander seeds
1/8 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 cup of water
Combine the seeds and add to a tea kettle or pot. Add one cup of water, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 4–5 minutes. Strain and sip!
