In the words of one of our Wanderlust Journal guest scribes:
People come to Wanderlust to live in the moment and to love life … The essence of that is everywhere. It’s in the classes, it’s in the Kirtans, the performances, the hikes, the lectures. It’s on the inspiration board, by the harbor, by the lake, or the grassy knoll where the Yoga Slackers and Hula Hoop Yogis express themselves. It’s in the beauty of the scenery, the architecture of the tents, the art at your feet made of mulch and bottle tops. It’s even in the open fields where people lie down on their mats soaking in the beauty of life, taking a moment to be grateful for all the universe has to provide.
We are indeed grateful. Wanderlust Vermont was everything we hoped it would be – four days of inspiring teachers, talented musicians, amazing food, blue skies and personal transformation. In the words of one yogi:
I am still enjoying the bliss. This was the first time my wife and I attended a yoga/meditation/finding you spiritual self/party/being with amazing people festival and we are hooked. I feel a lot of good will be coming out of all of our experiences from this weekend.
To all the people who contributed to the magical tapestry of this event – volunteers, teachers, partners, yogis, speakers, vendors, musicians & performers, crew, staff, and our hosts at Stratton Mountain Resort – we thank you. Now we go west to Colorado!
Next Thursday we will be practicing yoga 10,000 feet up in the Rockies at Copper Mountain with nothing but trees and blue sky stretching out for miles in all directions. If that sounds like a good time to you (and it sure does to us), consider joining us at Wanderlust Colorado, July 4-7th.
