A 200 HR YTT is only the beginning of a path of learning, growing and honing skills of the lifelong journey that is yoga. Yoga Sukhavati’s Yoga Alliance certified 300 hour Advanced teacher training program nurtures the graduate of a 200 hour training to become a skilled yoga teacher offering transformation to those who are interested in liberating their state of mind and lives. Yogasana in the Sukhavati method is practiced with clear anatomical instruction to create a grounded awakening and an experience beyond the physical. The self-paced advanced training is offered in weekend or weeklong immersions which can be attended at any time during the students journey to certification. Tailor your training to your own timing to complete your 300 Hour certification. Each immersion includes a thorough investigation of the asana practice through the lens of the particular focus of the immersion. About the Director

Leigh Evans, is the founder and director of the Yoga Sukhavati Teacher Training Programs. Having taught yoga for 20 years, Leigh has had the pleasure of training more than 175 of New York's finest yoga teachers in the past 5 years. It brings her great joy to guide and witness the transformation of her students as they develop the skills and awaken their voice and presence through taking their seat as the teacher. Leigh has dedicated her life to studying, practicing and passing on the living wisdom of yoga, culminating in this rich program.

Leigh Evans, (500 E-RYT) is a yoga teacher and choreographer dedicated to awakening creativity and aliveness in the body. Leigh is the founder and director of the Yoga Sukhavati Teacher Training Programs. Yoga Sukhavati’s Seasonal vinyasa practices are infused with Ayurveda, Buddhism, and Women’s practices. Since 1985, Leigh has practiced in the Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Viniyoga traditions in the U.S. and India. Leigh has been teaching yoga for over 20 years. Inspired by her studies in Ayurveda and Thai massage, Leigh has created an approach to yoga practice that imparts healing and transformation for specific health issues and Seasonal imbalances. Through an integration of vinyasa yang and restorative yin practice, Leigh’s classes enhance the flow of prana in the body by nourishing specific energy channels and organs. She encourages the development of mindfulness through the practice, inviting you to witness the shifting sensations of the body and attune to the inner unfolding of each asana.
