According to this article published on Fader, Rae Sremmurd's new album is set to drop on August 14th, 2016, and one of it's main features is #DoYoga.
What does this mean for us? "All my girls [who] do yoga, then get high at night" will now have a new, and major, theme song.
Rae Sremmurd is a group of two vocalists, and an über talented DJ, that specialize in infusing their lyrics with joy, and their sounds with ease-filled auto-tune. The vocalists are two brothers under the age of 25 that hail from California, and moved around until they found a more settled home in Texas.
What sets this band apart from their musical counterparts, like Wiz Khalifa, Migos, and Fetty Wap?
This Fader article says, "At a time when many acclaimed rappers are expressing pain, or anger, or political turmoil, they have been distinguished above all by a sense of joy. Their music’s approachability and pop appeal has made them a fixture on radio nationwide, in clubs, and on college campuses. But by some, their exuberance has been taken for weakness."
Rae Sremmurd has appeared on shows like The Tonight Show, BET's 106 & Park (as their former band, Outta St8 Boyz), and have written lines for major artists, like Beyoncé.
Yoga teachers, you've been warned: prepare for a lot of requests for this new hit—all your girls do yoga.
