Wanderlust Festival is heading to Whistler in British Columbia this weekend for the first time – and it’s going to be down right epic!

Join Shiva Rea for the Soundstrue Wake Up Festival Pre-Festival Intensive: “Breath, Rhythm, and Flow” at the YMCA of the rockies!
As the summer ripens, you will create a radical pause for rhythmic regeneration through yoga, ritual healing with the elements, meditation, Tantric wisdom, Ayurveda, and flow arts.
Shiva Rea and students will gather as a community for a two-and-a-half-day immersion, creating a living flow ashram in the Rocky Mountains. Each day will include four diverse and healing 90-minute practice sessions along with an hour-long morning meditation period. Everyone will synchronize themselves to the rhythms of the day.

Join Rich Logan at Moksha Yoga for a Weekend Warrior Adjustments workshop!
In each class you’ll discuss a different pose type (inversions, backbends, etc.), and the practical application of how to bring better alignment to your students through adjustments. From the opening meditation to the final resting moment you will explore a myriad of ways to be present with your students with mindful touch. You will look at anatomical concepts as they relate to honing your touch skills. Whether you are a new teacher or a seasoned pro, there will be something for everyone.
Sunday, August 26th
Spend your Sunday outdoors with Buffy Barfoot, Jeremy Wolf, Scott Seva Bears, and Ryan Nadlonek at Yoga Rocks the Park!
The day will include a 75-minute all-levels yoga class led by Buffy and Jeremy, accompanied by heart-opening live music from Scott Seva Bears and Ryan Nadlonek. The class will be followed by a family-friendly concert. Practitioners then visit the vibrant vendor-area filled with organic, vegetarian food and drinks, and wellness vendors offering massage, acupuncture and other treatments designed to make you feel great!

Spend your Friday night with Carole Westerman at the Lotus House of Yoga in her Yin Yoga Workshop!
Come learn the principles behind Yin Yoga and what makes it so different from other styles of yoga. You will discuss the various poses in Yin Yoga, the reason for the longer holds, components of a Yin Yoga class, and sequencing for success. This workshop will be both discussion and practice.

Join Kia Miller at Golden Bridge Yoga for a workshop on the path to union: breaking through every block!
When you get on the mat, do you try to push harder and go further or do you seek relaxation and calmness? Somewhere between these two approaches there is an edge.
