Teacher Training

Yoga Six offers 200 Hour & 500 Hour Teacher Trainings that will transform your practice and deepen your understanding whilst cultivating an integrative approach to living Yoga.

Our Immersion style programs are designed for those interested in deepening their practice, getting a basic certification, or continuing their yoga education with advanced training. Many students embark on the path of teacher training to evolve their understanding and experience of posture alignment, general practice benefits, meditation, conscious communication, yoga philosophy, and teaching techniques. In addition to the practicalities of guiding others in the experience of yoga, our training immersions offer a platform to connect to others, build long lasting friendships, and welcome back the potency and power of community learning.

About the Director

Originally from Minnesota, Katherine Soper was first introduced to yoga in 2008. Katherine quickly found a complete mind, body and spirit evolution. In fall 2011, following some soul-searching and a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course at the University of Minnesota, she signed-up for and completed CorePower Yoga’s 200-hr Teacher Training and CorePower Yoga’s level 2 training. Katherine offers a supportive environment, incorporates the building blocks for a safe practice, encourages students to honor the teacher within and celebrates the subtle shifts that ultimately guide us to our most awesome Self. Katherine believes that the beauty of yoga is that it can be adapted to suit all needs and bodies. If you can breathe, you can do yoga. Yoga continues to positively transform Katherine’s life from the inside out and she believes that it is a gift best shared with others.
