Originally from Sydney Australia, Katie Brauer is known for her progressive approach and inspirational teaching style. Her introduction to yoga arose as a resource for rehabilitation from serious injuries sustained during her 7 year career as a professional snowboarder.
Katie’s classes are laced with dynamic flow, yoga philosophy, technical alignment and heartfelt humor. She is deeply inspired by surfing, love of the ocean and the intelligent rhythms of the fluid system of the body. She infuses her extensive studies in Craniosacral Therapy, Kung Fu and Somatic Movement into a progressive approach to yoga that invites students to feel inspired, aligned and fully alive, on and off the mat.
