Hope you are finding your center during this beautiful, albeit often stressful time of year. December 14 is a full moon, and the winter solstice is nearly upon us. Winter solstice marks a time when we are deep into the darkest part of the year.

Friday, December 16 
WOOM Center is hosting a celebration of the December 14 full moon led by Emily Horowitz and Lucy Child. This full moon is called the “Long Nights Moon” by Native Americans because of its proximity to the winter solstice. 

WOOM Center is “the holistic lovechild of east and west, tradition and innovation, the personal and the communal.” The center combines sound, music and dance with ancient practices of yoga and meditation, and plant-based nutrition. The focus is on “what brings us together and makes us realize how undeniably connected we are.”
